This classic shoe was designed by Kate Mara with all profits generated by the sale of the shoe to be donated to Uweza -- a humanitarian organization that fights the cycle of poverty in Kibera.  They nurture and build upon the already existing capabilities and resourcefulness of Kenyans through community-based empowerment programs.

This Pearl Pink patent leather pump is shown here with side cut outs and a 5" heel with .5" platform. 

Says Kate,"Ever since I can remember I've been a shoe lover, so I couldn't have been more excited when approached with the opportunity to design my own.  When I learned that milk & honey would donate all the profits form this shoe to Uweza, it was a no-brainer for me.  It's such a fun and creative way to get people familiar with charities they haven't heard of, and to hopefully become more involved with them in the future."
