One of the most imporant nights in fashion took place on Monday night at the Alice Tully Hall in NYC, and the fashion world was out in full force! In a tribute to Fashion, we thought we'd take a look at what the models were wearing this time instead of celebs.
Starting from the left, first is Elettra Wiedmann in a Rachel Roy crepe twist drape dress, Lulu Frost jewelry and Rachel Roy "Farrah" leather architectural open toe and metal tri-color sandals. We really love these the nude, orange and yellow combo on these shoes mixed with metal accents.
Next is Dree Hemingway wearing a Creatures of The Wind black and gray silk abstract jacquard empire-waist dress. Not sure about her Tabitha Simmons for Creatures of the Wind silver boots to be honest.
Third is Crystal Renn in Zac Posen whom we normall LOVE. This one, not so much. We prefer sleeves to wings. The black strappy sandals are an updated classic and perfect for this dress.

Candice Swanepoel looked angelic in a light-blue lace Valentino dress and trendy white Brian Atwood "Melly" ankle-wrap heels. Her best accessory of the night, however, was Brian Atwood himself as her escort!
Joan Samlls stunned in a white Michael Kors tank dress with strappy gold sandals and gold accessories. She certainly did the designer justice as his date in his dress!
Karolina Kurkova looked stunning per usual in a sleeveless Tommy hilfiger dress, bold Erickson Beamon necklace and amazing black and gold sandals. These are defeinitely one of our favorite shoes of the night.

Shu Pei wore a Vera Wang saffron silk jacquard dress which looked great on her, but we don't love the clunky nude platform pairing. They just don't seem to go together.
Karen Elson wore a Proenza Schouler crop top and high-waisted A-line skirt. A hard look to pull off but she did, and the emerald green looked especially good with her red hair. The red Tabitha Simmons t-straps were unexpected but completed the look.
Arizona Muse looked great in a Jetsons sort of way in a Diane von Furstenberg puffy sequined dress. We woudln't have guessed she'd wear black leather knee high boots with a dress like that and this time of year but it actually works!
Liu Wen wore a printed Suno layered dress and Nicholas Kirkwood for Nuno booties. Not a fan of this whole, busy look overall.

Has seeing what the models wore on this all important fashion night inspired you? Why not try creating your own great look including designing your own shoes :)?
