It's one of the most exciting times of the year in fashion - NY Fashion Week! And to kick it off for the fourth year in a row now is Fashion's Night Out this Thursday, September 6. 

Here is a short guide to some of the exciting going's on:

Lord & Taylor will hold events at their flagship store on 39th & 5th featuring Kim Kardashian, (Real Housewives') Jill Zarin and Olympic gold medalist Kim Yamaguchi. They also promise free jewelry, complimentary tote bags and a 2013 New York City Firefighter's Calender, signed by one of New York's Finest (and also rather attractive.)

Oscar de la Renta will make an appearance at Saks Fifth Avenue in honor of his new fragrance, Essential Luxuries. The event will also feature New York Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire and designers Max and Lubov Azria.

The CH Carolina Herrera Boutique on Madison Avenue will hold a kid friendly event hosted by the designer's daughter, Patricia Lansing, Jerry Seinfield's wife, Jessica and Lincoln Center's founding fashion director, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. The event benefits Baby Buggy, an organization that distributes children's products to community-based organizations. 

Alisha Trimble (yes, that's right! The designer who loves the idea of designing your own shoes and Milk & Honey. See her video featuring her Spring fashions and Milk & Honey Shoes here and excerpt below) will be showing her limited edition Fall 2012 collection at Arojo's Styling Bar (Soho) from 6-9 pm. You can score a complimentary signature tote, a dip-dyed romper and other goodies with purchase of items from the collection.

Anne Fontaine is holding an "Anna Karenina"- themed party to showcase Fontaine's Fall/Winter 2012 collection, which is marked by the winter of Russia from the late-19th century according to the brand's website. 

3.1 Philip Lim will unveil a hand-crafted window styled after the 2012 comic book "Kill the Night" and will provide signed copies to shoppers. 

Henri Bendel brings Cirque de Soleil's "Zumanity"  to it's store as well as a casino themed night with Swarovski crystal giveaways and cocktails.
