Milk & Honey is extremely excited to have been chosen as the exclusive footwear partner for Sachin + Babi's runway show during New York Fashion Week!

Sachin and Babi have been a sought after design team in the fashion industry for over a decade. They are synonymous with exquisitely crafted embroidered textiles that luxury designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Giorgio Armani and Carolina Herrera have used as the foundation of some of their premium creations. Two-and-a-half years ago the duo launched their own ready-to-wear brand in order to "bring couture products to the contemporary girl." Through their experiences in India and New York, they have translated "embroideries and surface texture in a very different, modern way. It's a fusion of old world techniques and modern sensibility."

Their styles are somehow simple in silhouette but intricate in details which is a beautiful combination. Here are some outfits by Sachin + Babi that we love paired with Milk & Honey shoes:

The Rosa dress features rows of hand sewn burnt sequins on burnt sequin print silk bodice, overlay back and solid black ponte skirt with leather piping at the waist. We think the dress would look amazing with our Studio 54 peep toe booties.

The Milan Dess with tweed print and ombre piping embroidery would look perfect with our Singing the Blues loafers for a contrasting edgy and preppy look, but very modern across the board with the cut of the dress and the straight chunky heel on the shoe.

The Lally dress features a black ponte bodice with leather piping at the neckline and beautifully embroidered circle skirt.  You can dress it up with some killer pumps or go for a more funky look by throwing on a jacket and these amazing red suede and snakeskin booties.
