If the Duchess of Cornwall has taught us anything in her first few months as the ultimate style trendsetter it is the importance of every woman owning the perfect nude shoe. Kate’s prized nudies come from LK Bennet (she wore them to Zara Philips and Mike Tindall’s wedding last week) and her mother and sister also follow suit in their own versions of the classic nude pump.
The nude pump has long been a staple on the red carpet.
So what’s with all the nude shoes? It’s simple. A nude shoe provides the illusion of one long continuous leg. Without a color to break up the lines, it’s nothing but leg. Not only that, but a nude shoe will match absolutely ever color combination you can think of. Your days of worrying about if navy and black clash, if you need to bring both black AND brown shoes on vacation and matching that tricky shade of purple are over. Go nude!
