My friends have told me I should write a book about my dating life. I'm not sure if mine is more interesting than anyone else's or if I just like to tell a good story. Either way, some of my friends have laughed so hard they've cried listening to them. The stories have gotten even more ridiculous since I started living abroad. So, I decided to make the experiences available to the general public - lucky you!
Here's how this will work: I'm going to design shoes that I feel represent the guy I went out with. I'll tell you the story and share my thoughts on whether I'd choose to have the guy or the shoes. I'd love to hear any feedback as to whether you agree or not!

I created the shoe above because this guy is your typical guy (loves blue - probably wears khakis and blue shirts to work everyday) BUT can dress a bit cooler on weekends. I added the fun pattern and big bow because he has a great personality. I kept the conservative closed toe and slingback because at heart, that's what he is.
I met this guy on New Year's Eve, and he followed-up with an email. To be honest, I didn't really remember so much about him but his emails were funny and that goes a long way in my book. We went out and had a pretty good time on the first date! Good banter, a few drinks, dessert and a kiss. So we went out again. Just as we sat down to dinner, he informed me that he's not looking for a girlfriend. Now, I'm not saying that I was planning to be his girlfriend but it is strange to say that on a DATE. In a bar, on the phone, email? Ok. But weird thing to say on a date. I said, ok and infer the question "then why are we here?" His answer "you know." Meaning he dates to hook up. Hm, we hadn't even had a drink yet. Needless to say the second (and last) date wasn't as good as the first. However, I liked this guy, so thought we could be friends. He didn't love the idea. Guys generally want to run away anything somewhat weird, as you well know. Unfortunately for him we went to the same gym, often at the same time, so he was forced to talk to me. Fortunately for him (ok, and me) 7 or so years later we are still friends! And he still doesn't have a girlfriend. And he told me I wasn't the only girl he kissed (did I leave that part out?) on that New Year's Eve.
7 years ago I would have chosen the shoes. But this guy turned into a fun friend and I'm glad to have him in my life so now I choose the guy.
You can create these shoes in our shoe builder or design something completely custom and unique!
