A big trend this summer is white shoes. We weren't sure how we felt about this initially, but turns out we love it! Being so neutral, it's a great canvas to design around. You can play with different colors, straps, embellishments and most things work! We wanted to share a few of our favorite designs from Milk & Honey shoe designers using white. Hopefully they will inspire you to design your own white shoes!
The first pair features pearl white leather as a base (found under metallics) combined with black - you can't go wrong with a black and white classic! The designer used black patent on the heel, ankle strap and piping and then mixed it up further with black satin bows on the back. The result is dramatic and looks really great.
The next pair also uses pearl white as a base. The addition of rainy day patent leather piping, mary jane strap as well as a princess purple silk make these shoes unique in both their mix of colors as well as materials (leather, patent and silk!) They complete a fresh summer look.
The designer did a really great job with this next pair - the perfect summer shoes if you ask us! She combined blue and white polka dot fabric with white and nautical navy patent leather.
