Not surprisingly, we love the idea of designing our own shoes and creating them ourselves!  However, we do feel that there is a limit here. These modular shoes come with several plastic pieces and rubber bands which allow the user to create over 256 different footwear combinations. Apparently you can create stilettos, sandals, flats, pumps, thigh high boots, gold shoes... though it's really tough to imagine.  

Not only are the shoes not particularly attractive (and that's going easy on them), but they look fairly complicated to create. However, never fear! The "shoes" come with a 60 page instruction book and a 3 hour DVD. Actually, that scares us even more. 

We think we'll stick with creating and designing our shoes online :)
