One of the most popular colors for Resort 2012 is cobalt blue (or as we like to say SATC blue - our homage to the famous blue Manolo's Carrie wore for her wedding to Big in the Sex and the City movie!) Another option are these mid-rise cropped waxed skinny jeans by J Brand. They will take a bit more squeezing than the Derek Lam dress, but once you do, you'll look great!

If you prefer the real stuff (leather that is, as opposed to the "waxed" look above), give this Tibi pencil skirt a go.  We've never seen leather look this good!
