The trailer for a new documentary called "God Save My Shoes", which attempts to explain women's love of shoes, was recently released. Experts, fans, celebrities and designers are questioned in the determined attempt to understand a woman's relationship/obsession with shoes. 

Articulating the reason for many women's constant want of new shoes is clearly not so easy as the likes of Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie struggled to describe it. One of the best explanations comes from an American Vogue editor who wrote, "One element that goes on your feet can actually change the mood of your entire look. I mean, that's power."

The actual film launch is scheduled to coincide Paris Fashion Week.
