This past weekend began the way every weekend should - with an ocean-front, lavish Malibu Beach party!  Billed as a "summer soiree", the party was hosted by a group of women who sure do know the recipe for a fabulous party -- great location (Malibu!), great food (Taco bar!), great people (a fun mix of Hollywood and fashion).  

Dinner was served on the beach which provided incredible views but proved to be a bit challenging for all the fabulous footwear... our beautiful shoes were kicked to the side in favor of bare feet burried in sand!

While the view was stunning, we couldn't take our eyes off these shoes...

...and had to accost their lucky owner.  Now, having the skewed perspective that we do, I only have pictures of her shoes, but their rightful owner, Sally, was wearing stunning all-white suit by franklin + gower (another Los Angeles based customizable clothing company!)  Sally recently came back from a trip to Italy where she scored these amazing shoes.

As for me -- I was in a Joanna August plum dress with my current favorite evening/ summer shoes -- red glitter, open toe with cutout, a mary jane strap and 3.5" heel and .5" platform.  You can design your own version of them here.
