A full week after the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit closed at The Metropolitan Museum of art in NYC, the museum has released reports detailing it's success. 661,509 visitors saw the show, placing it #8 on the list of most successful exhibits in The Met's 141 year history.

Unfortunately, Dori and I were not among the visitors. We waited for one hour on this line:

before we got inside and were told the rest of the wait was another 3 hours! While we really wanted to see it, we are pretty busy these days, so a 4 hour wait wasn't in the cards. We did, however, have a lovely stroll through the rest of The Met in adorable shoes that we each designed ourselves. Especially Dori's great colorblock shoes that will be a part of our Fall collection! I mean, we couldn't go (or try to anyway) to an Alexander McQueen show not looking really cute :). We both got lots of compliments so that helped assuage the disappointment of missing the exhibition!
