Jessica Stam at Roger Vivier.  Michelle Trachtenberg at Stuart Weitzman.  A Backstreet Boy performing on the east side.  A flash mob busting out in front of Scoop.  A line around the corner to get IN to the Louboutin store.  It can only mean one thing... Fashion Night Out!

Stores all across the world in 18 countries and 250 cities stayed open late last night to celebrate the third year of Fashion Night Out, including over 1000 stores in NYC.

Strategizing our plans for one night of fashion, bubbly and tunes was a bit of a logistical nightmare... but not nearly as challenging the cobblestone street of the Meatpacking District in my 5" heels!

Some of the highlights included Sarah Jessica Parker at Manolo Blahnik, Frederic Fekkai makeovers at Christin Louboutin's downtown store, live DJs in the streets, a Shopbop lounge on the cobblestones' outside Pastis (fantastic place to sit down and relax from the chaos of shopping!) and the sheer elegance that is always Jeffrey.  We wanted to get to The Ace Hotel to see Miss Piggy, but alas there was just too much to do below 14th Street.  We wrapped up the night with dinner with the boys from HGTV's The Kitchen Cousin.  Don't know who these handsome gentlemen are yet?  Don't worry.... you will.

But the greater good of Fashion Night Out is to promote neighborhood shopping as well as shopping for a cause.  Causes varied from NYC AIDS Fund, Pencils of Promise and Habitat for Humanity. Last years' Fashion Night Out raised over $800,000 for charity.

Hey, just look at is as part of the stimulus package -- pumping money into the economy is patriotic!  Hope you guys had as much fun as we did!
