COME ON DOWN!
Feigning sick and staying home from school meant a VERY busy day for me in 1986: The $25,000 Pyramid, Super Password, flipping back and forth between THE FLINTSTONES and THE JETSONS and, of course, The Price is Right.
"Barker's Beauties", with their blonde feathered hair and gold lame dresses, set the standard that only Vanna White could surpass. When my sister and I would practice our Star Search, spokesmodel auditions we would use those Price is Right ladies as our ultimate role models... a fact that I'm sure killed our football loving dad and feminist mother, but what can you do.
Needless to day, when the amazing Greg Metcalf and Anthony Franco approached us about featuring a "shoe of the month" prize on The Price is Right we JUMPED at the opportunity!
