Fashion Week: Day #1
Outfit: Black Helmut Lang dress with green and white polka-dot, t-strap shoes
GAME. IS. ON! Lincoln Center is buzzing. The rain has finally stopped and there are gorgeous people everywhere. Phones are all charged, everyone is bright eyed. Miss Piggy and Anna Wintour are on the cover of The Daily, so things are good.
First on the list was Richard Chai's Love Collection. Bold colors, contrasting patters, bright prints and... skirts of pants? Yikes, I selfishly thought we were done with that (too much material = not flattering). Celeb spotting: A'mare Stoudemire.

Next stop is the Supima Design Contest featuring students from RISD, Pratt, SCAD, and FIT. The student designers' have created spectacular work. All designs are made from Supima Cotton and range from classic silouettes to spacey and angular. Celebrity judges include Coco Rocha and Charlotte Ronson. Rachel Zoe announced Jusil Carroll the lucky and talented winner.
Douglas Hannant's show was cute (white bows in hair -- Blair Waldorf would approve), bold (bright pink!) and rocking (performance by The Vandellas). Fun show, playful atmosphere.
Off to Fashion Night Out -- WISH ME LUCK!
